What type of system needs to be upgraded?

Forced air heating, gas or propane as the fuel source (Apollo offers AFUE efficiencies up to 96%)

Forced air heating, heating oil is the fuel source.

Most standard air conditioning systems are comprised of these two components. The AC (or condenser) sits outside, while the evaporator coil is located above the existing forced air furnace.

Most stand-alone air conditioning systems. The AC (or condenser) sits outside, while the Air handler can be located in the basement or attic. The air handler houses both the blower motor and evaporator coil that are necessary to complete the cooling system.

A heat pump system is generally comprised of the outdoor heat pump unit and the indoor electric furnace. The electric furnace houses the blower motor and evaporator coil, as well as a backup electric heating source for extreme heating conditions.

A furnace and air conditioner comprise most heating and cooling comfort systems. The furnace fuel source is natural gas or propane, the air conditioner sits outside of the home. Equipment efficiencies have increased greatly over the years - furnaces with ratings up to 96% AFUE are now available!

A hybrid system is made possible by installing a heat pump to work in conjunction with your existing gas, propane, or oil forced-air furnace. "Smart" controls are installed to determine the temperatures at which it is more efficient to heat your home with the heat pump, or with the back-up fuel source.

An excellent solution for homes and businesses alike, ductless heating and cooling systems allow for zoned comfort in one room or an entire house. These flexible and extremely efficient systems allow for affordable comfort and a non-invasive installation in almost every situation.
